Luana Matei (RO)—Originally from Romania, Luana lived in Tokyo for 12 years before unexpectedly finding herself stuck in Amsterdam during the lockdown. Her comedy is dark, and insightful, and sharply encapsulates her experiences of living and traveling across the world. She takes vulnerability to another level, constantly pushing the boundaries of "How soon is too soon?"

Luana has extensively toured Europe and Asia, performing in 51 cities across 29 countries. Since 2022, she has delivered over 300 solo shows—more than 200 of which sold out—entertaining over 27,000 people. Her shows, including How to Cheat on Your Husband, have been well-received, selling out in over 42 cities across 17 countries. She is currently on tour with her two solo shows: How to Cheat on Your Husband and My Therapist Is Ukrainian.
