About the event
Howdy, Jim here again. Due to the overwhelming positive feedback from my first show, I'm doing another Work In Progress Show. If you saw the first one, thank you first of all, and I invite you back to see some of the changes I've made. I'll be replacing some material, adding new stuff I didn't get to the first time, and I've tightened up the good parts to make them even more gooder!
If you DIDN'T see the first one, here's the brief backstory: I used to do this full-time, then life took an unfortunate turn and I had to leave the stage for a good 3 years. Since I've worked at the club, I've done shorter sets, getting the rust off, getting the confidence back, dusting off old material, writing new jokes. I'm finally ready to try and tie it all together, but I need a live audience to present it to. It's under construction.
So, I invite you, person who is reading this right now. Yes, you. I invite you on Saturday, August 3rd at 8:00pm to Carlitos Comedy Club for an hour of a veteran comedian trying to get back on the horse by gluing bits of material together... Don't worry, the glue doesn't come from the horse.
Admission is free and donations will be collected at the door. After watching my show, YOU decide how much it's currently worth (just to give you a frame of reference, shows at the club typically range from 15 euro to 30 euro). I'd also appreciate it if you "purchase" an RSVP ticket so I have an idea of how many people will attend.
Thank you for your time. Have a nice rest of your day. Don't forget to drink plenty of water.
