About the event
Ger Staunton is a prominent Irish stand-up comedian and actor originally from Castlebar, County Mayo. Known for his deadpan, "meticulously crafted" anecdotal riffs, he has established himself as a regular headliner on the Irish comedy circuit and a prolific international performer.Â
His comedy is characterized by a "dark twinkle" and a playful, tongue-in-cheek delivery that covers topics from his Mayo upbringing to global observations.
In 2024, Staunton released his full-length debut special, "Live From Castlebar," filmed at the TF Royal in his hometown. The special is currently available to watch for free on his official website and YouTube channel.
He has toured extensively across Ireland, the UK, Europe, the UAE, America, and Scandinavia.
